This adapter allows you to use a SIM card with a mini-card modem in a system that lacks a dedicated SIM holder. You simply wrap the flex circuit around the mini-card edge connector as you insert it into the mini-card slot, and then wrap the Sim holder around the card and secure with the included adhesive strip and you have a complete solution allowing the use of a GSM SIM for use on the AT+T and T-mobile networks in the US, and almost all carriers worldwide that use a SIM card.
