The SenseCAP S2100 data logger incorporates a built-in LoRa Module (LoRa-E5) for long-range transmission and a standard Li-SOCl2 high-capacity battery (type ER34615). It is designed and optimized specifically for use cases that need to power end devices for years. To minimize power consumption, the device wakes up, transmits the collected relative data to the gateway, and then goes back to sleep.

Under the best of circumstances, the battery is expected to last for more than 10 years, depending on the environmental factors and data transmission intervals. Please note the default interval is once per hour. The user can replace the battery quickly by unscrewing just three screws.

This data logger can collect data from multiple sensors and transfer the data through the LoRaWAN network. If you have deployed sensors not based on the LoRaWAN network, then you can change them into LoRaWAN-based sensors with our LoRaWAN data logger, and use the LoRaWAN network to transfer data. You can enjoy the advantages of LoRaWAN technology easily, such as low power consumption and long transmission range, without affording the cost of changing the sensors you are using.
