Zigbee is perhaps the most promissing low-power wireless standard on the market today. Furthermore the protocol has the ability to support multi network topologies such as:

  • STAR (one coordinator to many nodes, theoretically up to 65,536)
  • CLUSTER TREE (multi-hop network from beaconing node)
  • MESH (allows for routing to any connected device on the network)

With the SDIO Zigbee cards, you can convert any PDA or handheld device with an
SDIO interface into a functional Zigbee application.

 SDIO-ZigBee kit is the industry's first full stack ZigBee application, which allows users to set up ZigBee applications quickly and economically. It is the only solution of its kind that can be operated from a PDA. The ZigBee radio and MAC chips are controlled by a unique SD bus bridge chip, the CG-100. This allows ZigBee signals to be seamlessly converted to SD. In addition, we provides a flexible software package allowing users to form just about any ZigBee application within the ZigBee Alliance guideline.
