SDIO offers the advantages of miniature size, lowest power consumption, higher bus speeds (100 Mbps), and has been designed for a variety of applications including:
Bluetooth, WiFi, RFID, GPS, FM Radio, etc. SDIO is both versatile as it is universal; being that is can be used interchangeably for flash memory (4 GB).
