A GPS DataLogger is a compact and rugged all-in-one data acquisition device for position, timing and speed. The GPS DataLogger records NEMA position and timing data based on the GPS signal from WAAS or EGNOS satellites. Unlike the conventional GPS receiver, this self-contained device with built-in GPS receiver, battery (optional rechargeable) and memory for data storage, it eliminates the need for costly equipment like PDA or Laptop for tracking applications. Simply bring and turn on the data logger and record the precise GPS location, the respective timing and speed for the entire trip. Recorded trip data can be downloaded to a PC for use with position and mapping software like Google Earth, Microsoft Streets and Maps or other e-map software.
Applications
Record vehicle movement, speed, route and duration of stops.
Track-log for delivery trucks, vans or school buses
Record movement for loan / hire cars
Measure speed and create track map for road-racing or autocrossing
Trip recording for trial runners and hikers
Double as a GPS receiver for navigation when connected to a PC.
