This module has all the bases covered in both 2.4GHz (802.11n/g/b) and 5GHz (802.11a) bands. With 802.11n, there are great improvements on speed and range. The range is up to 3X further, and it reduces dead spots in coverage area. This radio module adopts Multiple In, Multiple Out (MIMO) technology with which effectively doubles the data rate. Unlike ordinary wireless networking technologies that are confused by signal reflections, MIMO actually uses these reflections to increase the range and reduce “dead spots” in the wireless coverage area. The robust signal travels farther, maintaining wireless connections up to 3 times farther than standard 802.11g, and with speeds up to 300Mbps data rate.
