With the increasing pressure to provide lone worker support on remote sites, the MiChroSat Voice add on can be provided to workers to allow them to plug into MiChroSat units deployed in the field and provide temporary voice / SMS capabilities on site. The capability to add Voice services to a MiChroSat 2400/2402 device must be requested upon unit order. The Handset itself can be plugged into any MiChroSat unit with Voice capability. The telephone number and services are linked to the MiChroSat 2400/2402 unit itself not the handset. This allows the handset to be provided to all workers regardless of location. Voice minutes will be billed on an as required basis allowing complete flexibility of use.
The MiChroSat Voice Handset provides a convenient user interface for supporting Voice and SMS services across a wide range of markets applications. The Handset supports voice calls as well as utilizing the Iridium SMS service. The handset is compact and includes an inbuilt ring alert and hang-up cup for easy mounting. It includes the mounting bracket and a 1.5m extension cable. |
