Full Description:

The CG100 is the first device in the SD-Path family that connects an SDIO host to SDIO card applications and is developed and manufactured as an SDIO controller suitable for communication functions.

The CG100 has an IO Wrapper function (PCMCIA card and compact Flash card I/F) on the card application side and is thus interactive with high-bandwidth communications applications such as IEEE802.11b.

With its high-speed-UART various SDIO card applications are enabled, such as Bluetooth, GPS, PHS, and modems. It also has a maximum 8-bit GPIO, and its internal CPU provides flexibility, enhancing compatibility with various applications.

Full Description:

C-Guys offers the CG100EDK as a CG100 reference board. The CG100EDK can handle I2C serial EEPROMs, "NOR flash" (maximum 32Mbyte) and NAND flash (maximum 2 units) products, thus enabling the development and evaluation of prototypes with actual SDIO card images.
The CG100EDK is equipped with a PCMCIA socket and a UART DB9 connector. Thus, it also makes possible collaborative design development of SDIO cards and application software using existing PCMCIAs, compact flash cards or direct connections with UART interface devices.
